We’re a group of vertebrate palaeontologists and macroevolutionary biologists in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Our research primarily aims to decipher the origins of avian biodiversity using fossil, anatomical, and molecular data, though we investigate evolutionary questions across the vertebrate tree of life.

Interested students and postdocs should get in touch (djf70[at]cam.ac.uk) about opportunities to join our group, and check out this video about our home department!
